Airbags only deploy under certain conditions (head on and side collisions exceeding some pre-determined force). This accident wasn't one of them.

Notice how the driver's head's almost out the window? Note to self: If you're car's rolling over, keep your head and arms inside so they don't get crushed by the ground...

Always handy in the event of an emergency when the f*cking passenger tries to steer at the last minute. The driver was doing fine until he got involved. Almost.

Also, to the person who said there was no initial collision and the car just flipped over by itself: have you ever considered something might be *beside* the road? Like a ditch, or a bump of some kind? Cars don't flip over like this unless they are near perpendicular to the driving direction and suddenly experience a very high friction or braking force on the wheels. Such as when your car comes off the ground for a bit, then lands in soft dirt.

He shouldn't have locked the steering wheel all the way over; that's oversteer. When you are skidding at speed it is important not to jerk the steering wheel; hard not to.

I think this was on purpose. They may have been trying to show how easy it is to flip it. Just look at how calm everyone is. It's like they expected it.

I love how the driver gets out and like runs away where did he go? thats classic.. for those of you who are questioning there faces its called shock it happens all the time as an EMT i see this everyday ive seen the worst accidents imaginable and the person is just sitting next to the car like nothing happened...

holy hell, you all are idiots. Yes, you steer in the direction of the skid, especially when it's the rear wheels sliding. if the fronts are the ones sliding, you're pretty much fucked. And full lock does not mean oversteer, oversteer means your rear is swinging out past where your front is going. understeer is where you are not turning as sharp as your wheels are turned.

This car held up very well; the rear passenger got his door open no problem. the driver waited too long to react, and over-reacted, and repeated. The passenger was an idiot to try and help, because there's pretty much no good that can come of that, and it was already too late.
