I'm gonna go ahead and call fake here. Why would someone videotape themselves crossing in front of a train? And there's definitely a shadow at the very beginning that doesn't look right. Not to mention, the train operator didn't even touch the brakes.

1) People are different than you are. They do crazy things you wouldn't do. This means this is probably not fake. 2) LOL, applying the brakes at that speed would never work in the slightest, it wouldn't even buy time.

It's real, Even if he did touch the breaks it wouldn't have slowed down the train at all, maybe by around one to one and a half mph... Thats it. People videotape themselves doing dumb things all the time... I wish the guy had gotten hit, maybe a lost limb would teach him not to be stupid.

Could easily be fake. A fixed camera angle like that, would be no problem to composite those two shots. Not that there aren't people dumb enough to try it for real...
