Actually just watched some boxing footage and even though not in slow motion, you can tell their heads do not "melt" or wobble nearly as much during punches, and these are punches from pros that are at least as hard as the ones in this video. i vote total bullshit on this one. the only thing i wanna know is what the song is in it.

I'm a 3D modeler with 6 years experience in 3DS Max, Maya, Zbrush, and XSI. I've worked on both prerendered and realtime rendered projects. This video is real. It is possible to fake (Matrix Compression Punch for example) however to do it on this many seperate individuals in different scenarios (drinking, cell phone, smoking, etc) it is extremely unlikely because it would be a workload that any major cg studio would crumble under. Even if it is CG, it is depicted realistically.

THis is hilarious. As someone who has worked in the CG / Film industry for 10 Years. There is no way on this earth this is CG or digitally enhanced in anyway, other than the framerate it was shot at. It would take a team of 50 people 6 months to make something this realistic in CG, and they would need to be the best in the biz. Even then it couldnt look that good. So all you people calling fake - STFU!

As a recent owner of a camera that takes up to 1200 fps, I know that this can be done fairly easily, the job would be getting volunteers to be punched, even with a well padded boxing glove like this one. Convincing the morons who seem to take great delight in saying its a fake, is a far more difficult job, idiots like these "know" they are right anyway.( they undoubtedly have a direct line to god, etc)

you don't even need a video camera to see this type of distortion with the face. all you have to do is shake your head from side to side real quick and let your mouth go all loose and take a photo with a good camera to see how much elasticity the face has. me and my mates used to do it and put a fist next to our faces to make it look like a punch haha. yes we were saddos

Um, if you don't think it's real then watch the glove AND the face. Notice the glove also reacts to the contact. That could be faked in a video but not the contraction of the muscles.
